“The price of registration is worth it just for the room, board and setting alone, complete with resident harbor seals and incredible array of birds.”
- Linda, Woodinville
“What a bargain! I thought it was more than a reasonable (fee) for all that we had. Where else could one find such things all in one place? The experience of being in your home was priceless; witnessing your dream. All that wonderful (delicious and healthy) food, comfy beds and a hot tub to boot.”
-- Maryann, Tacoma, Wash.

On a first-come, first-serve basis, two participants from each workshop have the option to stay for a two-day personal retreat directly after the workshop to work on songwriting and writing projects. While new ideas and enthusiasm are fresh, focus on your projects, sit in solitude along Parks Bay, brainstorm with Maggie or Sharon, or just take the time to unwind after an intense weekend workshop. Sign up when you register.
We can also arrange retreats for your songwriters or writers groups, and participate in the learning process to the degree that you wish. For information, contact us at info@songandword.com.

“The experience you extended to me was complete in every way. You are both gracious hosts and dear people who could not have made me feel more welcome and cared for throughout our time together. Yet with all the hospitality, you still provided space for me to enjoy my own quiet moments. You have a kind and gentle energy and it fills your retreat home.”
-- Lauren, La Grange, Ill.
“You are both powerful and loving women and it was a pure pleasure to be in your home and to soak up all the beauty that you have both created. I really could not ask for anything else.”
-- Becca, Newcastle
